This paper is a reflection on the invocation of commercial uses in international arbitration, its application and usefulness criteria, as well as their difficulties. To do this, we try to distinguish the uses of other figures, different in nature and legal consequences (e.g., custom), identify the main difficulties, which focus primarily on the burden of proof for whom invokes a particular usage - and advantages of their application.
